Due to retirement, Abatis has an engineering vacancy.

We are seeking an individual with fire and security industry experience. The individual will need to be able to demonstrate exceptionally high standards of installation and customer service. A mutli disciplined engineer would be best suited to this role as works carried out will include all aspects of electronic fire and security systems. Inclusion on the duty enginneer rota would be a requirement.

Salary will be by negotiation, and a company van and mobile telephone will be provided. Applications fo rthis position should be made in writing or by email to the address details provided in our contact us section.

The FreeComGP from RISCO Group offers cost effective signalling exceeding the requirements of Security Grade 2. Using the all inclusive secure Vodaphone GPRS network, customers using Digital Communicators can upgrade their security and save on call charges associated with their signalling. It is also ideal for new installations requiring a Grade 2 signalling solution at cost effective prices.

Also new from Risco Group, is the innovative Agility wire free intruder alarm system. The agility offers 2 way communication between the control panel and it's connected devices. Wire free really has come of age!

Here at Abatis Fire & Security and Advanced Alarms, we are aware of the ongoing economic uncertainty. In view of this, we are pleased to announce a "Price Freeze" on all domestic intruder alarm service agreements. This means that our prices have risen just once in four years and represent outstanding value for money. And remember, customers on a Comprehensive service agreement can choose to pay by quarterly standing order too offering flexible and affordable peace of mind.

SERVICE OPTIONS THAT SUIT YOU (05/01/2009)

At Abatis Fire & Security and Advanced Alarms, we know that times are tough for our customers. As well as offering excellent value for money, for many years we have offered our domestic customers the option of paying for their security alarm service by standing order.

So just in case you didn't know, we thought we'd bring it to your attention now! If you want to switch to paying for your alarm service agreement by quarterly standing order, just drop us an email, give us a quick telephone call or drop in and see us, we'll be happy to hear from you and to explain the simple and cost effective method of paying for our services!

Abatis Fire & Security are delighted to announce our membership as approved members, of the Fire & Security Association (FSA).

With more than 270 members across the United Kingdom, the Fire and Security Association (FSA), is the fastest growing representative body for companies that design, install, commission, maintain and monitor electronic fire and security systems.

As a specialist division of the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA), and working in partnership with SELECT, the Scottish electro-technical trade association, the FSA is uniquely positioned to improve industry standards and develop its member's businesses.

FSA members represent all sizes of professional companies from local suppliers with only a few operatives to large multi-service companies.

All work to exacting British and European technical standards and are independently assessed and third party certificated.

Through the ECA's well-established consultative and advisory structure, FSA members have direct access to the latest industry developments and have the opportunity to contribute actively to those developments. 

The FSA aims to:

  • Provide a highly effective membership platform, upon which the specialist services, skills, expertise and interests of members can be developed further and actively represented and promoted to both the business and wider end-user community
  • Increase productivity and professionalism across the electronic fire and security systems sectors by supporting the development of both technical standards and new occupational standards, apprenticeship schemes, training programmes and qualifications that are relevant to member's needs and are accessible to the wider industry

  • Work to create and sustain a quality driven, innovative, profitable and responsible fire and security systems industry.

ELECSA PART P APPROVAL (20/05/2008)

Abatis Fire & Security are proud to announce our approval under the Elecsa Part P scheme for electrical installations within the home. This keeps Abatis at the front once again within the fire and security sector in Northern Lincolnshire. Remember to ask your security installer if they are Part P approved before allowing them to connect the intruder alarm panel or security lighting to your electrical installation.
